And this has nothing to do with Halloween, but I just got back from a great show and the thing that makes it even vaguely relevant here is that it was such a treat for the ears, and the eyes provided it. You see, I won my ticket to the show through a photography contest sponsored by the Columbus Association for the Performing Arts; and the fun of it is that I spent the show sitting directly under the subject of my winning shot.
So let me share a little something from the groups that performed:

Well, if everytime a bell rings an angel gets his wings, it's not impossible that an angel loses them whenever a bell ceases to be. Um, that is if you believe in angels. This one would look better with a pair of horns anyway.

I heard that Lou Rawls version of Season of the Witch a while back and was pleasantly surprised. You've got some great photos on your blog.

sailormom: thanks for coming by, and for your kind comment. I was surprised Lou even did a cover of that particular song, but yeah, it's not bad. It loses the autumnal feel of Donovan's, but it's not as odd as one might think.

What a great shot...I really like the contrast of her melancholy expression with the bright blue sky behind her.
Actually, this angle reminds me of the last few seconds of the opening titles of "Angels in America"...did you watch closely to make sure she didn't move?
