German Village, (Columbus) Ohio
I was out in GV with my new friend Claire this evening and a doggy mama and her two sweet Weimaraners (they looked like it, I thought) came up to where we were sitting. The doggy mama, who was too funny, referred repeatedly and affectionately to Charley here as her doofy kid.
Look at his intent gaze!

This is amazing, Dane! I love the framing, and the contrast between the tack-sharp focus and the background bokeh is wonderful. I'm guessing doggy mama would kill to have this printed large and framed. For that matter, you should frame it yourself.
Thank you. This might be in the top three photos I've ever taken, I like it that much. I'm really happy you like it too.
If I had any way of finding her again, I'd get her email and send her a copy. If someone had given me such a picture of Sugar and his big personality, I'd have been so touched.
That is a great photo. One of your best, and that's saying something.
Thank you so much, John. I really appreciate that!
I have no idea whether that dog has labrador in it, but it looks a lot like our dog Max, whom I call Black Shuck.
Just beautiful. I hope you find him again!
I don't either Major, but I can see lab in there.
Thanks, Karen!
