Batcopter

Columbus, Ohio (Ohio State Fair)

The signs said this was the original Batcopter from the '60s tv show. It doesn't look quite the same without the black wings.

Charley

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

German Village, (Columbus) Ohio

I was out in GV with my new friend Claire this evening and a doggy mama and her two sweet Weimaraners (they looked like it, I thought) came up to where we were sitting. The doggy mama, who was too funny, referred repeatedly and affectionately to Charley here as her doofy kid.

Look at his intent gaze!

This particular little piece of small town/rural America is located a few blocks south of the downtown Columbus skyline. Go figure.

Above the front door of an abandoned army building among the others at Fort Hayes. Weird, huh?

The Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane

Oh come on, you knew that was coming.

Disclaimer:

Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway. If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.
