Here's something that was popular - and that I loved - way back when I was in that bowling league in middle school.

George Clinton - Atomic Dog

I STILL love to bowl! I just wish there were still all the fabulous bowling alleys left. :(

We have a bunch here - you should come visit! :)

I have that album... on cassette.

Cool sign. But everytime I see the word BOWL now all I can think about is the Tim and Eric B'Owl skit. Ahhh, Cinco products... only they could think of combining a bat with an owl.

Dane said...

Never heard of 'em, Steve!

Joe: You do?? Is the rest of it as much fun? (I'm thinking it's got to be.)

Joe said...

It is on Computer Games, which is an excellent album.

Great shot. But your description begs the question: Did you have your own shoes? :)

Dane said...

No, I rented the ugly ones. A friend of mine had a pair of white/beige/powder blue ones though, and I envied her. They were so pretty!

Love the sign, great shot of it!
PS- I don't have my own shoes either.

Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway. If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.
