What can I say? I am very impressed with your eye. You have found a niche and it works well. Keep up the great work!

I love fly by night strip mall churches. Bland and faceless, your awesome photo is so perfectly framed to show the complex banality and uselessness of it all. Who would go to a church like this anyway, especially when there's bigger, prettier ones on every other corner in every city in the world. Maybe this one serves really good free doughnuts afterwards?

"... and thus the lord did appear, taking shape, large and looming over this shunned place of holy worship. But they who gazed longingly up into the billowy clouds missed him altogether, for the creator's new found form as a bulky AC roof unit somehow felt much cooler..."

Thank you very much, skipfish! I really appreciate that. Thanks for coming by and commenting!

Ah, karswell, I agree completely. So many beautiful churches out there sitting empty ... so many lame storefront churches ... we could fill those empty beautiful churches with the congregations of the storefront churches and it's a win-win.

Except we'll leave this one alone. This one has cool disco lights! :D

Disclaimer:

Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway. If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.
