Now that's an entrance! When you walk inside does it still have that classic mall smell? I'm always surprised when I enter the old J C Penney here in STL that it still has a strangely nostalgic plastic meets buttered popcorn smell like from when I was a kid... they had a popcorn / pretzel stand set up right as you entered, but of course this has been gone for nearly 20 years now. But when you walk in today you can still smell it, like it's imbedded in the carpet and ceiling tiles or something for all eternity.
Unfortunately, no one's been able to walk inside this entrance for some time. :( The store for which this was an entrance has closed, and moved to a more modern looking end of the mall.
I know exactly that smell, though. Your comment was great, so vivid.
