Love hot pink neon... I wonder if this sign was always like this or if some brat threw a rock through the middle section and broke the original neon?
I don't think I see any neon holes, so I'll tentatively say it was like this.
Well it looks like the whole thing would have been replaced if it was broke... the font is completely different and the backboard is unlike the top and bottom though it all still looks quite old.
