Cool... love these things. I always imagine some guy parachuting from a plane and as he slowly descends he looks down and sees one of these rising up directly underneath him. AIEEE!

Nice blog, Gunnar! Thanks for the heads up.

Ha ha ha ha ... Oh Steve, you really make me feel like I'm not all alone in my constantly morbid state of mind. That's hilarious!

Ohhhh, I LOVE this! have you seen it in action???

Dane said...

Nope! I'd love to have been able to, but I'm not sure it's still working.

If you should ever decorate a Christmas tree only using photographs, then this one would be the perfect for the topper! Nice shot!

You're right! I have a feeling that later in the month I'll regret having posted this now. :)

Don't know if you've seen this:

In one part of the documentary they show some folks in New Mexico getting one of these spinning, glowing marvels working again.

Disclaimer:

Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway. If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.
