Truly moving to watch that sea of people. Just so powerful to see that people believe, care, and want to be involved. Hard to not feel something.

Anyway, that pic is the exact moment when I had cold shivers all over my body, a lump in my throat and tears in my yes. For once, CNN did well in how they executed the countdown to the last polls closing, captioning Obama's victory and cutting to Chicago.
I still wonder if I'm dreaming. If I am, I hope that when I wake up, CNN announces that Al Gore has just narrowly beaten Texas Governor George W Bush. I could do with being eight years younger again.
I could too ... eight years ago, before Katrina and 9/11 and any number of other things, was a much better time.
