I really like this one. Everything from the stripe pattern to the white letters on the fake wood. It looks like candy and makes for some tasty eye candy too.

Ooh yes, that would make a great album cover...

Thanks, guys! It was above the display shelves in an old drugstore that seemed right out of 1970.

I just love this. It really makes me think of childhood. And The Mary Tyler Moore show -- I HAVE NO IDEA WHY.

Makes me think of the candy flavored wallpaper in Willy Wonka!

Makes me wonder why so many new candy stores employee ridiculously obscene flourescent colour schemes that deaden your senses (including the tastebuds) the second you walk in the door... where as this appropriately fab blend of tan, brown and sky blue really makes you want to instantly down a pound of confection before you even leave the joint.

Walt: Agreed.

Karen: Because this (and the Mary Tyler Moore Show) is what the world looked like when we were young? I swear, you'd think they'd never opened the doors or windows since '70, it was so perfectly preserved.

Todd: That's perfect! (Why hasn't anyone made that yet?)

Steve: One of my rooms in my apartment is done in brown, blue and white ... maybe that explains the candy cravings.

Disclaimer:

Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway. If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.
