The Lack of a Nose Really Does Something Creepy Here

The list of bloggers participating in the Halloween Countdown has grown immensely from just last year! They are in the blogroll near the bottom of the page, and I must thank Todd of Neato Coolville, John Rozum and Erick of Wonderful Wonderblog for compiling the list. What is that, 50 this year?

I think he's holding his nose under his jacket to keep it warm.

Wonderful blog you've got here. I'll return often.

Todd Franklin said...

He scares me!

Thank you, Pierre! I was struck by the quality of the art at your blog earlier - you've been bookmarked! (And your theory makes sense)

Yeah, me too kinda, Todd.

John Rozum said...

It gives him a Lon Chaney "Phantom of the Opera" look.

If you get a chance, take a look at the statues at the arch in Washington Square Park, NYC. They appear to have leprosy.

Ooh, thanks for the tip! I'll have to google those up.

"Zombies ate my nose!" said Mr. Brown. "And now I'm having a heart attack..."

Dane said...

The heart attack would be a mercy. I certainly wouldn't want to be awake while they finished me off piecemeal, so to speak.

Creepy!! I like your blog - I'm seeing things in Logan County I never paid attention to before. I think I'm going to have to go around with a camera - you must see things differently when you're going to take a picture of it.

Dane said...

Thanks, Beatrix! I don't know if you see things differently - maybe you just see more things than you otherwise would?

It's the sphinx's husband!

They're a perfect pair!

Disclaimer:

Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway. If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.
