Diamonds

Well, I've been meaning to post this one:

Ann-Margret - Thirteen Men

But this one goes a little better with the picture, so you get both.

Marilyn Monroe - Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend

One word: Speedwagon

(Plus...Nice track from Ann. Forgive my spelling issues.)

I agree with Skippy, how long has this sign been ridin' the storm out? I can't really tell if it's old or new.

Thank you Karen, you're so sweet!

Glad you liked the song, Todd, it's one of my favorites.

However: sorry guys, I despise everything about REO Speedwagon, so there will be none of it here. Ew, Kevin Cronin.

Steve: I honestly do not know, having not ever heard of this business before. I love this sign though (I first saw it two years ago when I took a crappy shot in passing and it's been lingering in my reshoot folder since then 'til about last week) and would guess that it's late '70s vintage.

Disclaimer:

Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway. If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.
