Disclaimer:
Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway.
If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.

I love old pharmacies. You're probably the only person I know that I could say that to without getting the Why Eye.
The Why Eye, hee. Yeah, I understand. The way they smell, the little glass shelves with one or two of each item on them, the old corrugated backlit plastic signs over each wall shelf ... I like them too. If you're really lucky, you'll find a soda fountain!
Not a single decent soda fountain pharm exists anywhere around here unfortunantly. But when I lived in LA we used to drive out to Pasadena and go to the Fair Oaks:

Great shakes! Plus it was right down the street from The Rialto Theatre which was another awesome old place still hanging in there:

And then after a movie it was time to walk another block or so for BBQ, here:

I sure miss Pasadena sometimes...
