This was taken with a thrift shop $2 panoramic camera. I love the effect - that long stretchy image and the "letterboxing" - but geez, these things are hit or miss. It took me three broken cameras/destroyed rolls of film before I got one to spit out a mostly intact roll. Only after breaking, of course.
Today's Monkees hit is Pleasant Valley Sunday and the "unhit" is No Time from Headquarters. One of my all time favorites of theirs, it is basically loud, fast, cheerful, rock and roll nonsense. It doesn't even make enough sense to be called word salad. Regardless, you will find yourself singing along after only a listen or two, and if you're listening as you drive, you may find yourself getting a speeding ticket.

It is a cool effect with the letterboxing. I couldn't tell what the neon even said and spent a few minutes trying to decipher it, and then finally noticed you had the name typed right above it. Duh! Me.
Also, I see a sign reflected in the window, it's very small and either next door or across the street, it looks cool. Or am I just hoping for an old pizza joint character?
Oh, are you ever in for a treat. The sign for the restaurant across the street is for a Kewpie restaurant. I will email you the pictures I took inside and out.
