Disclaimer:
Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway.
If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.

Somehow I missed this post before because the pic wouldn't load... but man I'm glad it finally did. Stunning! Same with the THRIFT photo, such sumptuous detail in the tile. I'm on a hunt now to find some tiled buildings in The Lou.
Oh, you aked when I'm ever going to start that other blog and I guess I just sort of backed out for the time being... THOIA keeps me pretty busy but I'm still taking tons of photos for the time when I actually do have an extra second to go double bloggin'. And of course you'll be the first to know my dear!
Thank you kindly, Steve. You know I'm looking forward to seeing all those pictures. I have a hunch that the Lou is full of good stuff I'll never otherwise get to see.
What a knockout. Do you know who the architect is? I wouldn't be surprised if it's someone well-known.
It is, Joey! It's Louis Sullivan.
