Disclaimer:
Music is posted for a short time, and while I use it in part to (hopefully, though not always) go along with the theme of the photo, I also post it in hopes someone will give it a try and fall in love with it as I have. Perhaps they will then seek out more by the artist and buy more cds. That's how it works with me, anyway.
If you like it, pick it up at the store; support the artists you love.

Amazing! It's not everyday you get to see the washboard that the Amazing Colossal Man used to scrub his big 'ol diaper clean.
I love it! The giant washboard, the "Sunnyland" sign on top, the mosaic colors of the windows (esp. on the left) and the ambiguous name. I hope that washboard is well-secured on the side of the building, though...that would be an embarrassing obituary for anyone underneath.
Heh, Karswell. Amazing that your frame of reference went right to the comics. :)
Greg, I love it too - you know how I am about oversized roadside attractions. I think I might have actually squealed when I pointed this out to Angie.
And can you imagine the noise that would make if it fell?

Actually, Amazing Colossal Man is an old movie but it's all good.
Ah. I'm a little more ignorant than I'd like.
Cool. I've never seen that before. There really should be a website or flickr pool for ordinary things turned giant. one other that comes to mind is the big picnic basket building near your city.
I think there is such a pool, Joey - I'll doublecheck.
I'm loving all the little rectangles! and the grit!
