Seen in the store last month.
Has the packaging for these ever changed? I'll swear it was the exact same as when I was little. Note to any Hostess employees reading this: do not change the packaging now. It's perfect as is. Please continue to leave it alone. Thank you.
They're visually appealing bits of polyurethane snack cakes, aren't they? I do love green.
Yes, that's my thumbnail. I tried to set it up and make it nice for the picture, but stores kind of frown on impromptu photo shoots involving their products.

Wow, those are very...green. At least the holiday tie-in makes sense, though...certainly much more than the inexplicably purple chocolate Wonka cakes.
By the way, if you've still got them lying around (and why not, since they probably have a shelf life measured in decades) you could always make Hostess Sushi...
There is so much wrong with purple cream-filled cupcakes, I can't even start.
But the Hostess sushi is genius! I badly want to try making that. The little fish on the little donuts!!
I can't use the Lucky Puffs though -- I never buy SnoBalls despite the visual appeal; the marshmallow is too gross. And if I had bought 'em I still couldn't use them, because I've never bought a snack cake that didn't get scarfed within minutes.
mmmm ... healthy too
Damn, I love crappy tasting, artifical "food."
I've never had the green ones. Do they taste any different than the white ones or the pink ones?
How did you ever find these?!
