Today is, of course, the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, one of the most heartbreaking events this country has experienced in recent memory. It is also the release date for the single "All These People."
Harry, who was there the day after the hurricane hit, who beat the federal government to the scene by four days and offered whatever help he could, who's been working tirelessly on behalf of Habitat for Humanity's Musician's Village project, is again trying to do what he can.
He's teamed with gospel singer Kim Burrell on the single; you can only get it through iTunes, and the entire 99 cent fee you'll pay for the song goes directly to Musician's Village.
A small download of iTunes software, what is effectively a 99 cent donation to Habitat, and you get a moving and beautiful song from Harry. It's a win-win.
