A song, belatedly, for the moon landing anniversary (I'm so happy for all this Summer of '69 anniversary stuff in the news; I was born in a very eventful and interesting summer. The Woodstock and Tate-LaBianca murders' anniversaries are coming soon as well.) And a song for summer as well.

I was turning 21 that summer, I had my first car, a 62' Buick full of headaches but I was in radio at the top of the game in Binghamton, NY. (WENE) I'll never forget THAT summer. So much was unfolding and a lot of people weren't ready for it. The Lunar Landing, The Manson Murders and Woodstock were the biggies that year.

It was an amazing year! I had to do a term paper once for a history class about the month I was born. I fudged it a little and went with two weeks before and two weeks after so I could include everything you mentioned. I got an A+ with the notation "You got an easy month!"
